On behalf of the board of Triad Story Exchange (TSE) of Greensboro and its parent, NC Storyfest, Inc., I invite you to explore this website to discover the many and varied storytelling programs and opportunities we offer. Our mission is to promote live storytelling in order to increase sharing of personal and cultural stories in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. Since becoming a co-sponsored program of CityArts/Greensboro Parks and Recreation in 2010, we are expanding our activities from an annual festival to a wider range of local storytelling programs throughout the year. Regretfully, we will not be presenting Storyfest in May, 2011 due to funding limitations, but we offer local live performances, Open Mic Nights, monthly informal gatherings, and workshops for people want to be involved as creators of personal stories, performing storyteller/artists, or listeners. Whether a novice or seasoned storyteller or a listener we invite you to join our organization and take part in our activities that showcase and advance this live, interactive performance art. Welcome !
Charlotte F. Hamlin, Board President (aka “Charlotte Webspinner”)
